ME AND MY WORK

From my home studio in Derbyshire, I design and make limited edition and one of a kind bags and accessories with a vintage feel. Handmade from the finest fabrics, recycled materials and antique findings, everything in my collection is made to the highest standard with a strong emphasis on originality, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

My inspiration comes from childhood memories and my lifelong passion for fashion and textiles. Everything from family holidays at Skegness, to my Nana’s wallpaper comes together in unison with wonderful fabric finds to create pieces that evoke feelings of nostalgia and warmth.

QUALITY ASSURED

I pride myself on the finish and quality of my bags and accessories, working tirelessly to ensure every item I make is finished to perfection. Each of my bag designs are rigorously tested to ensure they are as practical as they are beautiful.

BAG CONSTRUCTION

The construction of all of my unique bags is designed to ensure they stand up to practical use. All external fabrics are fused with heavy weight interfacing to add strength and shape to the design.

Stress points such as corners and handle/ strap joins are triple stitched to stand up to heavy weights being carried.

I use heavy weight fabrics to line all of my bags, which is also on occasion fused with interfacing for extra strength, if the design of the bag needs it.

Inter-lining is used for larger bag designs, such as messengers and saddlebags for added strength and rigidity or to create volume in smaller bags.
